yyyeeaaahh!
For ONCE, being underage actually came in handy. I am in grand forks for the summer and I really wanted to get a membership at the Y. Mostly because I RREEAALLLY want to swim. I love love love swimming and there is nowhere to swim in either Kiester or Grand Forks. So anyway, I went over to the Y to sign up for a membership and found out that they have a 99 days of summer membership, sweet! I was signing up for a college student membership, when the guy at the desk asked my date of birth and he realized that I am only 17. Apparently, that means I should be signed up under the ‘Youth’ membership. College Student= $117. Youth= $45. Are you kidding me!? That is awesome!!!!! Oh, and I was worried that because it is a youth membership, I would be limited in the facilities I could use at the Y… Nope. Because I am older than 16, I can use anything :)
